If your address is eligible to Sky Fiber (see this FAQ), activation depends on whether your home already has an active fiber socket OTO (Optical Termination Outlet):
✅ If you already have an active OTO ready for Sky Fiber:
- No technician visit is needed, the activation usually only takes a few days.

Once you receive the activation confirmation from Sky (by email), just connect your Sky Fiber Kit.
🛠️ If there is no active OTO yet, but BEP (Building Entry Point) is installed on your building:
A technician visit is required to install or activate the fiber socket (OTO) in your home.
You’ll be contacted shortly to schedule an appointment. While this process usually only takes a few days, high demand in your region may cause delays of up to two months, depending on the availability of our installation partners.
The technicians will be following these following actions:
- Running a fiber line from the BEP to your apartment (splicing).
- Installing a new OTO.
- Replacing a damaged OTO.
⏳ Note: due to high demand for fiber installations in some regions, delays may occur — this affects all fiber providers, not just Sky.
⚠️ Note: the technician will not relocate an existing OTO to another room.
