When playing a video stream on Sky, you may encounter the error codes below on the following devices:
Web browsers, Android phone & tablet, Samsung Smart TV (Tizen OS) & Panasonic, Sunrise Box, PlayStation.

Error code S-1001 – NETWORK.HTTP_ERROR
Why you see this: The server returned an HTTP error (e.g. 403 or 404).
What to do: Check your connection, disable VPN/proxy, and reload the page.
Error code S-1002 – NETWORK.TIMEOUT
Why you see this: The server or network took too long to respond.
What to do: Test your Internet connection and try again.
Error code S-1003 – NETWORK.BAD_STATUS
Why you see this: The player received an invalid response from the server.
What to do: Close and reload the page. If it continues, report this bug.
Error code S-2001 – MANIFEST.PARSE_ERROR
Why you see this: The video manifest (stream description file) is invalid or corrupted.
What to do: Reload the video. If the problem persists, report this bug.
Error code S-2002 – MANIFEST.UNSUPPORTED
Why you see this: Your browser does not support the manifest type received (DASH/HLS).
What to do: Use a compatible browser (Chrome, Edge). Keep it up to date.
Error code S-3001 – DRM.LICENSE_REQUEST_FAILED
Why you see this: Shaka failed to obtain the DRM license (Widevine).
What to do: Use Chrome or Edge (Widevine-compatible), update your browser.
Error code S-3002 – DRM.KEY_STATUS_REVOKED
Why you see this: Your Widevine license key has been revoked.
What to do: Update your browser and operating system.
Error code S-4001 – PLAYER.MEDIA_ERR_DECODE
Why you see this: The browser cannot decode the video.
What to do: Update your browser, close background tabs, and restart playback.
Error code S-4002 – PLAYER.QUOTA_EXCEEDED_ERROR
Why you see this: Your browser’s memory is full (cache or local storage exceeded).
What to do: Clear the cache and restart the video.
Error code S-5001 – PLAYER.UNKNOWN
Why you see this: Shaka Player encountered an unknown error.
What to do: Restart your browser and try again. If it continues, help us by reporting this bug.
Error code S-6007 – DRM.OUTPUT_RESTRICTED
Why you see this: Your browser detected that the video output (e.g. external screen connected via HDMI) is not HDCP compliant.
What to do: Disconnect the non-compliant external screen, use an HDCP-certified HDMI cable, or play directly on your main screen.
