"Stripe Payments UK Limited" is Sky's payment service provider (PSP). When you make a payment on our platform, Stripe acts on behalf of Sky Switzerland SA to securely process your transactions.
- Sky already use a statement descriptor in each transaction made to the customer via Stripe. Our statement descriptor is formated with the business company name "Sky" followed by an identification of the invoice (starting with the letter "F") so that every customer can retrieve on his sky account the corresponding invoice explaining what have been exactly invoiced.
- Sometimes, Bank company doesn't show what Stripe sent to them, which isn't the fault neither of Sky or Stripe. When it happens, the only possible way is for the card issuer to correct his way of handling the data he received.
- American Express cardholders may see Stripe on their credit card statement for the first 48 hours instead of the actual name of the company that created the charge. Once the status of the withdrawal is no longer “pending” and it has been fully processed by the bank, the credit card statement will be updated to provide more detailed information about the company that originally created the charge.
