We’ll take care of the rest
Once the form is signed, Sky Mobile contacts your current provider to arrange the transfer.

Up to 365 days in advance
You can request the number transfer up to one year before your current contract ends.
During the transfer process
- Keep using your current SIM card until the day of the transfer.
- You’ll receive several SMS updates on the number being transferred (via your current SIM).
- Have your new Sky Mobile SIM ready — insert it as soon as your old SIM stops working.
Important information
- Exact match required: The details you provide must exactly match those on your current contract. Otherwise, the transfer may be delayed.
- If there’s an issue, we’ll send you an email, a letter, and a text. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder.
- If you have a prepaid plan, simply confirm your request by replying “YES” to 499.
Why am I seeing a phone number that isn't mine?
During the number transfer process to Sky Mobile, you might see a temporary phone number displayed in your account or on your device.
This provisional number is used during the transition between your previous provider and Sky Mobile.
Don’t worry — this is not your final number. Once the transfer is complete (usually within 1–2 working days), your correct number will be activated and displayed automatically.
