How can I use my Apple TV access with my family?
With your Sky Show Premium pass, your Apple TV access can be shared with up to six people in your Apple Family Sharing group.
Family Sharing is managed directly by Apple. This means you need to set up or manage your family group through your Apple Account, not through Sky Show.
How do I set up Family Sharing?
To use Apple TV access with your family:
- Make sure your Sky Show Premium pass is active.
- Make sure your Sky Show account is linked to your Apple Account.
- Set up Family Sharing with your Apple Account.
- Invite your family members to your Apple Family Sharing group.
- Your family members can then use Apple TV with their own Apple Account, according to Apple’s Family Sharing rules.
Apple explains that Family Sharing cannot be created directly in the Apple TV app. You need to create the family group from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, then invite your family members. Apple also notes that not all features and content are available in all countries, regions or on all devices (Support Apple).
Do I need to link my Sky Show account first?
Yes. The first time you use Apple TV with Sky Show Premium, you need to link your Sky Show account to your Apple Account.
